While on Amazon I finally ordered "Christmas at Cartwright's" (which also appears to have dropped in price). But, fortunately, the price is now down where it should be for a Hallmark movie - under $15! So I pre-ordered it. As much as I love "Let it Snow" and want the DVD, I was having a hard time with the idea of possibly paying $30-ish for it, when I knew that the price would probably drop sometime next year. ![]() The pre-order price has already dropped (thankfully) to about half of what it was a few days ago! I'm glad for that. Sherry In California Thursday, October 01, 2015 Maybe it's better that they don't advertise, because then the movies would sell out faster! But, from a business perspective, I'm not sure why they are not advertising. You would think they'd want to advertise it. "Snow Bride" and "Let it Snow" are among the most asked about, and at this rate I am not even sure if the social media people at Hallmark know that two of their most requested movies are being released to DVD. Hallmark always tells people on their Facebook pages that they will announce it or let people know when DVDs become available for certain movies - and I don't think they ever do! Lol. In any case, I am thankful that you reported it (after the tip from Trisha). Then, a few months later it will drop down to a normal price. I assume that's what will happen with "Snow Bride" too - it will start out as being exclusive to Walmart and ChristianBook (at a reasonable rate), and then it will pop up on Amazon for a crazy price. Then it eventually dropped to a price that was more like the usual prices (in other words, under $14). When "Nine Lives of Christmas" first appeared on Amazon, after being a Walmart exclusive, it was ridiculously expensive. I assume that after it is released (and sells out a few times), it will be restocked at a lower price. I am a little surprised that "Let it Snow" is going to be so expensive right off the bat (compared to the usual prices of Hallmark movies on Amazon).
